Medicel Controlware provides one software application to control and monitor all Explorer laboratory equipment
Medicel Explorer units can be flexibly combined in different configurations depending on your research and data gathering requirements. The flexibility of the system offers the following advantages to users:
- The full set of equipment can be controlled with one application obviating the need for managing individual graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for each hardware module.

- The full set of equipment can be controlled with one application obviating the need for managing individual graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for each hardware module.
- Users can extend their configuration by acquiring new modules for their Medicel Explorer
package without the need to install any additional GUIs.
- Each module can be used and controlled separately independent of other Medicel Explorer units.
At the maximum, Medicel Controlware can control two Cultivation Units with 15 reaction vessels each, one Sampling Unit and one set of analysis modules. The Medicel Controlware software module provides a user-friendly graphical interface for creating and performing various sampling sequences from traditional bioreactors, from the Medicel Cultivation Unit, and from the Medicel Plugflow Unit.
