The Medicel Explorer combines multibioreactor environment with automated sampling and real-time analysis.

Compact design to accommodate all Explorer products:

The Core of the Medicel Explorer product family is the Cultivation Unit. It encompasses 15 individually controlled bioreactors.

The Sampling Unit enables efficient sampling from the Cultivation Unit or from any other conventional bioreactor.

The Plugflow unit can be used for perturbation and short reaction experiments.

The Inline HPLC and the Inline Microscope are designed to produce real-time data from any cultivation experiment without manual labor. All Medicel Explorer products are software controlled by Controlware application software.

 Medicel Explorer Data Sheet

The Medicel Explorer is a parallel bioreactor system for the design and execution of complex cell cultivation experiments.

A flexible design provides a modular cultivation platform to efficiently perform efficient characterization, screening and optimization projects meeting high industrial and scientific demands. Different modules can be included in a solution depending on the needs of the customer.

Modules for gas and liquid control are connected to the Cultivation Unit with flexible silicone tubing. The transportation of liquid samples from cultivations to analysis modules is performed using a pump or overpressure. This enables the execution of complex cultivation projects with multiple sampling sequences.
