The Integration Framework is the core of Medicel Integrator.

Integration Framework is based on a large database, the Medicel Data Warehouse. It supports functions that are needed to integrate data, both from open databases as produced by the applications, into the Data Warehouse. All integrated data is organized according to one unified database schema, named Medicel Infomodel.

The application server and tool server are included in the Integration Framework. Also, essential data management functions like administration, version management, query and report are incorporated in the Integration Framework.





Query enables data searching from the data warehouse. Query handles simple queries as well as complex searches from several joined tables. Data entry, modification, and deletion are also supported.

Admin is exploited for user administration, access rights and security management across the Integrator.



Version supports the versioning of data releases. It supports version history tracking, control of data visibility in projects as well as reviews in which data is approved or rejected.



Report provides users with customizable reports summarizing the properties and the content of records in the data warehouse.



Forms provides users with custom extensions to the database schema. It offers the possibility to broaden the database schema with special requirements in cases where the wide spectrum of objects in Medicel Infomodel is not adequate.
