Real-time analysis of extracellular metabolites
Medicel Inline HPLC enables the automated analysis of the main metabolites and nutrients present in the cultivation medium. A sample from a cultivation is pumped through a crossflow filter and analyzed with an isocratic HPLC system and a RI detector. Modular design enables the use of different separation columns and detectors. For example, the concentrations of glucose, glycerol, acetate and ethanol can be measured in five minutes analysis time from yeast cultivation medium.
